Is VERY influential amongst the tech bros who look up, or suck up, depending on your point of view, to him. Peter longs to escape civil society and all the responsibilities that come with it. Either by going into space or on a utopian floating island.

Founder of Open AI and worth $2.3 billion. Another Stanford grad and Thiel acolyte. Altman is widely considered to be the leading player in the AI industry. When Altman originally started Open AI he believed in AI safeguards, now all he cares about is beating Google at any cost.

Considered the "godfather of AI" and now a voice of caution. If you are going to Google/listen to anyone in this field, listen to the one with the least amount of money and the most modesty. Unfortunately Hinton appears to be shouting at clouds.
