AGI - Artificial General Intelligence. `A hypothetical AI that possesses the flexibility and problem-solving skills of a human across a wide range of domains. The ultimate goal for AI religious developers. Nirvana! Every problem in the world will be solved when we attain AGI. We will all become data center electricians.
The Singularity - singularity, theoretical condition that could arrive in the near future when a synthesis of several powerful new technologies will radically change the realities in which we find ourselves in an unpredictable manner. Most notably, the singularity would involve computer programs becoming so advanced that artificial intelligence transcends human intelligence, potentially erasing the boundary between humanity and computers.
LLM - Large Language Model. Advanced AI systems built on neural network (like a brain) designed to process, understand, and generate human like text. LLM's use massive datasets and billions of parameters, usually stolen from anyone who has ever posted anything on the internet.
ChatGPT - ChatGPT is a generative artificial intelligence chatbot developed by OpenAI. ChatGPT can generate human-like conversational responses and allows users to refine and steer a conversation towards a desired length, format, style, level of detail, and language. The underlying technology for chatbots.
Chatbot - Those annoying software programs that try to fool you into thinking they are human by using predefined rules or AI-powered Natural Language Processing techniques, commonly used in customer support and virtual assistants.
OpenAI - The company leading the rush to AI. Run by Steve Altman and valued at 500 BILLION dollars. Altman plays fast and loose with the truth.
Machine Learning - The practice of training algorithms to learn patterns from data and improve automatically without explicit programming for each task.
